We believe that each patient should have the hands-on attention and care they deserve with one to one treatment sessions. We value our therapists who work in a collaborative team with other experienced CHTs and see no more than 1-2 patients per hour.
Certified Hand Therapists
Hand + Physical Therapy NYC has a Full-Time opportunity for an experienced Hand Therapist (Occupational or Physical Therapists) to join and expand our therapy team. We are experiencing phenomenal growth and have a great opportunity for a Clinic Director – Occupational or Physical Therapist looking to make their mark in a specialty outpatient practice that works in close rapport with prestigious local orthopedic surgeons! Work with an accomplished team of clinicians that have an excellent reputation among patients and referring physicians
Summary
Ideal candidate will perform responsibilities under general and direct supervision of Owner. They will provide exceptional therapeutic patient care and manage the overall leadership and operation of the clinic location.
Education and or Experience:
- Proven exceptional customer service and patient care experience
- Self-motivated with the willingness to exceed patient expectations
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Graduation from an accredited Physical or Occupational Therapist curriculum
- Proof of licensure as a Physical /Occupational Therapist in the state desired
- 3-5 years or Occupational / Physical Therapy experience, preferably in outpatient care
- Certification in Hand Therapy Preferred
- Must be willing to work flexible shifts

We have a special interest in treatment of the Hand and Upper Extremity and its sequela. We believe that each patient should have the hands-on attention and care they deserve with one to one treatment sessions. We value our therapists who work in a collaborative team with other experienced OTs PTs and CHTs and see no more than 1-2 patients per hour.

We have a great opportunity for a Physical Therapist looking to make their mark in a specialty outpatient practice that works in close rapport with prestigious local orthopedic surgeons! Work with an accomplished team of clinicians that have an excellent reputation among patients and referring physicians. This is an excellent opportunity for growth towards a Full Staff position.
Summary

Patient Care Coordinator
Hand + Physical Therapy NYC is a Therapist owned and operated outpatient practice. Located in Union Square, New York City, we offer specialty Occupational Therapy , Physical Therapy, and Hand therapy services in a state of the art facility where our focus is on clinical care and customer service.
At this time, we are searching for a Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. Reporting directly to the Clinical Director, the Patient Care Coordinator performs clerical and receptionist duties, combined with patient tasks to assist the therapist(s). The most suitable candidates will be professional, energetic, attentive to details, well organized and possess an understanding of confidentiality and discretion.
Essential Functions:
- Greet patients and assist patients in and out of therapy area.
- Maintain a patient treatment schedule consistent with the needs of the facility.
- Maintain responsibility for general administrative support.
- Answer telephones, screen and refer incoming calls.
- Aid in the treatment and care of patients in a manner consistent with the American Occupational Therapy / Physical Therapy Association Code of Ethics and New York Occupational Therapy / Physical Therapy Practice Act.
- Prepare equipment for treatment as needed by the Therapist(s).
- Maintain facility records and filing, consistent with company procedures.
- Work with the billing department to ensure that all billing information is correct.
- Perform housekeeping duties; maintain order and cleanliness throughout the facility.
Qualifications/Requirements
- High school education or equivalent.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
- Effective interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
